Volume 2 contains cases of Roman law to serve as an example for further law study. Volumes 2, 3, and 5 are the laws of the city of Siena presented as a law code for that city.

Letter to Philip II

Handwritten letter on velum written in Latin from the court of justice in Spain. The item is addressed to Philip II and requests his signature of approval for the execution of two men condemned for conspiring against the king and the Church. The names of the men are Francisco de Cordoba and Leonardo Sorbieca.

Picenardi family papers

Contains deeds and other legal documents of the Picenardi family. Documents are handwritten on parchment, and deal primarily with family land holdings in northern Italy. Also includes some information on the Sfondrati family. Materials date from between 1443 and 1563.
